Cartoon Dreams

Ade, rolled over in bed, "nah, this is a dream, it can't be real," he thought. Trouble was as he rolled over, he nearly rolled into a road. He looked at his hands, they weren't his hands, they were cartoon hands, he quickly looked in a shop window and was shocked, he was a cartoon. He quickly opened his eyes, looked around and realised he was in a cartoon town, this was no dream, this was real, now he had to work out how he could get back to his normal life.

He saw a girl on the other side of the road, he shrugged his shoulders and rub his eyes, he dismissed what he was seeing and started to walk away. That is until, the girl said, "Ade is that you?" He answered, "Aisha, is that you?" She run over and gave her brother a big hug and asked how did they get here and how do they get back. Ade could not answer either of those questions, but some how he was going to get them back, just right now he didn't know how.

The sun was very hot and Aisha said she would love an ice cream. Ade looked in his pocket, but he didn't have any money and Aisha had no money either. Aisha sighed and said, "oh I wish I had an big ice cream, it is so hot." Ade told Aisha to turn around, telling her she wouldn't believe what was beyond her. "Brother, is this one of your jokes again?" He promised her it wasn't and when she turned around, there was the biggest ice cream you could imagine.

"Ade, I know you don't like ice cream, so why don't you wish for a hot dog?" Ade admitted he was hungry and he did love hot dogs. However, he was meant to be a cool dude and how could he tell his mates that he was in a cartoon world and he wished for a hot dog and it appeared. "Listen, if I do, will you promise not to tell my mates?" Aisha nodded, so he said, "I wish for a very large hot dog." When he turned around, there was the biggest hot dog in the world.

They both started to enjoy their time in this cartoon world. It was a very little known fact but Ade loved animals, it wasn't something he would admit to his mates. He wondered if he could wish for something he could only dream of and that's being up close with a Lion. He told Aisha and she told him to wish for it and so he did. Suddenly he was standing next to a lion, which was purring and nudging him. Ade spent an hour with the lion, while Aisha looked on.

Mind you, Aisha didn't look on for long, as she loved animals too, her favourite animal was gorillas. So she went around the corner and closed her eyes and wished to play a gorilla. She opened her eyes and there was...nothing, she was sad, until she felt a hand tapping on her back and voice said "would you like to play?" She turned around and nearly fainted, standing there was a huge gorilla. She giggled and replied, "oh yes please" and for the next hour, they played and played.

After saying goodbye to the Gorilla, whose name by the way was Joe, Aisha had a look around to see where Ade was, but she couldn't find him. Suddenly he came flying past her and said "RUN" and carried on running. She started to run, but she was too late, because standing in front of her, was hers and Ade's math's teacher, Mr. Stephenson. "Hello Aisha, where is your homework, it was due yesterday." "Ah erm, well, sir this is a cartoon dream, how come you are here?

"You know how important homework is to me Aisha, this might be a cartoon dream,  but, I still need your homework." Replied Mr. Stephenson. "Sir my watch says it's 11 p.m. at night and my homework is not due until my lesson until 10.30 tomorrow morning." With that Aisha wished Mr. Stephenson would be removed from this cartoon dream and with that she closed her eyes, when she opened them, he was gone. She knew she hadn't done her homework and had to do it.

Aisha needed to find Ade, it didn't take long to find him, he was just around the corner standing on top of a bright red tractor. When he was younger he had a red tractor as a birthday present, but a couple of years ago after moving house, it got lost in the move. Now he had fulfilled his dream of having another red tractor, this time it a full size one. He had just finished driving it up and down the high street and now was standing of the cab showing his love for it.

They both suddenly felt very tired, they realised they had been awake most of the night in this cartoon dream and needed to get home for some sleep, before school tomorrow. "We need to go home," said Aisha. As soon as she said that they began to change from a cartoon figure, to their real selves. "Time to go Aisha," said Ade and with that they left their cartoon dream, knowing they would return.
